Okay so I just started running, I enjoy it and I know it will take a while to get into good shape. I already have a flat tummy, will the running help strenghten and tighten my core or should I add some ab work as well, if so how much?

If I were you I would recommend that you do some ab work.
I have an AB Boot Camp---but anyway its really hardcore
There however is a lighter abdominal workout
