Work study is determined by amount of EFC. You may be able to get work study and it take the place of loans, etc. (they count is as part of aid). If you want a job that doesn't count as aid, get a non work study job. There are several jobs available on campus that you can apply for and that's counted as a regular job. GL with getting them. WS will not help you if you have a LOT of bills to pay.

You are going to where, and have to work to do what? The place to go would be your Institution's Financial Aid office. They can help you with any scholarships, grants, work study programs, or any other resources that may be available to you based on your personal qualifications.

I cant exactly tell you how it works because it varies by school but talk to financial aid. I think it only goes through financial aid unless otherwise noted.

you need to go to your school finance department and they will have a paper for you to fill out. then look for jobs around the campus by yourself, once they hire you, you need to let your finance counselor know about it.
