I need a good exercise for the muscle above the knee (the upper half of your leg) I walk and exercise everyday but when I exercise my legs only the lower part of my leg feels sore, please tell me a good exercise for the upper half of the leg.

squats, leg curls (you lay on your stomach on a bench and pick up weights via the back side of your ankles), and leg extensions (you sit on a bench with weights on the front of your ankles and lift). If you don't have an exercise bench, you'll probably have to go to a fitness club.

Not true - if you walk exercise your caf is sore for another reason.
Soreness doesn't discriminate, but its also obvious your caf is haf the size and easier to achieve soreness! (Stay with it there are definatly forces driving you - so you never know maybe you'll awaken)( I'm paranoid of the x -chick facto doing yahoo answers) I go to Ballys so I know these things.

Hm... I believe you are talking about the ''Femoral muscle''(named after the femur :D) The one at your thigh. I hate that :D. Truthfully I have no idea, but Squats of some kind may help. I have seen some elipitical's also claim they help that area (Treadmill at an incline). Good Luck!!

Squats with either barbells, or a bar will definately get that area.

stair-steppers work, i have a small one from sharper image, it makes my thighs sore if i use it right
