What do you do when you forget what the topic of a conversation is ?

What if you are talking with some person who is really boring ,and you are not paying any attention . If they ask you a question about the topic how do you reply without letting them know you were'nt listening

Simply say, "Would you repeat your last sentence or two? I want to make sure I understood you correctly."

always keep a fake bug in your pocket. when something like that happens, pop it out and scream and run away and then come back later and apologize and tell them to remind you what they were talking about.

YOU CAN SAY NOTHING OR JUST HAVE A FRIENDLY LOOK OR JUST SAY PLEASE EXCUSE ME, BUT DONT ASK QUESTIONS OR THEYLL START ALL OVER AGAIN. YOU MIGHT WANT TO WALK AWAY SLOWLY OR IF YOU CANT WALK AWAY SAY SOMETHING THAT PREVENTS THEM FROM STARTING UP AGAIN.
