i like this guy but i am not sure what to do to get him to be mine

Find out what his favorite food or candy is. Then find a way to give some to him, with a note that has your name and number and a cute message on it inside or on it somewhere.
With my boyfriend, I found out that every day for lunch, he would bring a bag of popcorn and pop it in the student lounge. So I got one of those Tub-O-Butter popcorn things and put a note asking him to call me (with my name and number) on the bottom of the carton. I made sure that I wrote on the top that he had to finish the whole thing for a surprise. He loved it and we've been together for a year now.
Be creative and really try to get his attention

As hard as it is... make yourself noticed... talk to him... if you already know him... try to get to know him better... telling him straight out is usually a bad idea because it makes a person think somethings happening too quickly. That's what I'd do. Hope this helps

Do not do anything that is physical. That will only be a temporary attraction and you are sure to regret it. Tell him how you feel and let what happens take its course.
