I'm only 13 and my Lower right side has been hurting since 4th period. It's gotten worse over the past hour. I'm crying, because I'm worrying so much. The pain is on my far right side, about an inch above my hip bone.

I'm not crying because of the pain, I'm crying because I'm worrying about having appendicitis.
The pain comes and goes.

When I was 8 years old, I had a ruptured appendix. I was sent home from school with a "tummy ache". The doctor told my mother over the telephone that it sounded like the flu. So, I was in excruciating pain for over 24 hours with appendicitis. The next day a different doctor made a house call and soon called for an ambulance. I had a ruptured appendix that required emergency surgery. So, it is better to have it checked out now by a good doctor than waiting around.

Signs and symptoms

Appendicitis
Appendicitis can cause a variety of symptoms that may change over time. The most common early symptom is an aching pain around your navel that often shifts later to your lower right abdomen. As the inflammation in your appendix spreads to nearby tissues, especially the inner lining (peritoneum) of your abdomen, the pain may become sharper and more severe.

Eventually, the pain tends to settle in your lower right abdomen ¾ near your appendix at what's known as McBurney point. This point is about halfway between your navel and the top of your right pelvic bone. But the location of your pain may vary, depending on your age and the position of your appendix. Young children, especially, may have appendicitis pain in different places.

If you apply gentle pressure to the area that hurts, it will feel tender. As you release the pressure, especially if you do it suddenly, appendicitis pain often will feel worse (rebound tenderness). It will also tend to get worse if you cough, walk or make other jarring movements. This is particularly true if the inflamed appendix is touching the peritoneum — the silk-like membrane that lines the inner abdominal wall and enfolds the intestines. The pain may lessen somewhat if you lie on your side and pull your knees up toward your chest.

In addition to pain, you may have one or more of the following signs and symptoms:

Nausea and sometimes vomiting
Loss of appetite
A low-grade fever that starts after other signs and symptoms appear
Constipation
An inability to pass gas
Diarrhea
Abdominal swelling

it's possible you are having an Appendicitis attack. Talk to your parents immediately and have them take you to the emergency room. It could be many other things, but with the pain being so severe I don't think you should waste any time.

you really need to see a doctor. He will do an exam and some blood work . A white blood count elevation will show infection when your appendix is bad. You will usually have projectile vomiting and the pain can become very sharp and harsh in you abdomen. If they become inflamed enough that they boost you will be very sick. Please go see your doctor. Better safe then sorry.
