An old farmer told me this remedy. Dissolve a tablespoon of salt in about a cup of warm water and keep it in a jar. Put the salt water on the ringworm twice a day for three days. Leave it to dry on the skin. Do it after your shower so it doesn't get washed off. The ringworm should disappear after two weeks. If it is still there give it another treatment. It worked for me with only one treatment. Good luck.

Some of the creams and ointments can be very irritating to the skin. If you're looking for the natural approach, apple cider vinegar (it has to specifically be apple cider vinegar) will dry it up quickly. Apply the vinegar to the affected areas twice daily until it's gone.

There is antibiotic cream available but athlete's foot remedies work. Also, wash all clothes in hot water, and do not take hot showers. The heat makes the sores weep and spread.

Use an antifungal cream like athletes foot cream, jock itch cream or vaginal yeast infection cream. These are all the same antifungals.
