i am a serious body builder enthusiast and my rule is less is more! i do 20kg i started with 10kg and do more reps(the amount of times u do like up down etc)!

press ups and sit ups are a great help, do not drink protein drinks they just make you fat! i tried it! EAT plenty of protein i.e. mussels and make sure u consume at least 4 portions of fish each week!

Rowing is intensively great but try to use free weights as they are much better!

if you need help im willing 2 have a chat.

The heavier the weight the bigger the muscle and short term power. If you want endurance go with smaller weights for a longer time and you'll be 'toned'.

Well, over time and proper diet you get both, point is you need to head over to the tread mill for at least a half hour, walk on an incline of 10% or jog on a .05 % incline for a half hour. AFTER you finish your lifting.

That formula is typically true. To achieve both, more weight and less calories. It's all about DIET, DIET, DIET.
