This is probably the same deal with half the girls out there, but there is this overly charming boy i have met a few months ago and i was crazy about him...but he had just come out of a 4 year relationship and didnt want to get involved...i can totally understand and respect that (been there). But still after several months i find myself absolutely fascinated by him. Why can't i just accept him as the great friend he is to me now.????

After a 4 year relationship you can`t expect him to just forget like that. You are talking 4 years of love, trust and companionship. Naturally he is not going to want to jump right back in to a relationship. If you have been through this then respect his feelings. Some people take longer to get over being hurt. Just be there for him if he wants to talk or just hang out and if it is met to be then it will happen and if not then you have a very good friend. GOOD LUCK
