you have to train it. thats what my aunt told me, and shes a hairstylest.
i jsut switched from the middle to the side too. what you do, is when your at home wet it down and pin it to the side so it drys that way. soon, it will just naturally want to go there. gells work too. blow dry it with it parted down the side.

when i got my side bangs done it took a little while for my bangs to go where they were supposed to go. put it in either a clip or a bobby pin. the best way to keep the hair in the bobby pin is a x. it works great. there will always be one hair that will not stay with the side bangs. whan your hair grows longer it will lay better.

mine took a long time to "train" to stay to the side. First, they need to be a sufficient length, they cant be too short. I used to part them to the side after a shower and use a bobby pin to hold them in place. Once your hair dries, use a flat iron to make them nice and smooth and they will stay to the side. I think it would work with a curling iron too but I haven't tried because I don't own one.

You just have to keep training it to go that way. It may take awhile but keep brushing it that way and blow dry it to the side and maybe use some bobby pins to keep it out of your face until it stays that way on its own.

Mine just stay there with my side part. But try putting a little moouse in them, blow dry and straighten. They should train to stay to the side eventually.

after you cone out the shower, blow dry it, then when it is dry use a LITTLE hair spray on it while brushing it to a side so it can hold the hair in place when in high humidity. it works.
