If Hitler's Germany had won WWII, this is a possible scenario:

a) to consolidate power, Hitler might have made some treaty with the West that the U.S. would not have been powerful enough to refuse.

b) Russia would have been totally subjugated by Germany as Russians were seen as vastly inferior to the Germans.

c) The world economy would have resided in Europe. Since Japan helped weaken the West, Hitler probably would have tacitly given them control over the Far East and parts of Asia, areas where the racial composition would have been distasteful to the Third Reich.

d) Racism would be seen differently. Germany would have perfected their propaganda about racial purity and intelligence to a point where it might have become accepted in academia. Hence, blacks, gypsies, and all non-Aryan races would have been relegated to a permanently lower status.

e) Poverty would probably be much worse than now since Germany would want certain areas to be permanently subservient to them.

f) Crime would most likely be rampant in parts of the world as people surrepticiously traded with the Germans against their own country's prohibitions.

g) History would have changed so drastically that all the Presidents following WWII would have been different. We would have had different problems, aspirations, goals, and ideas.

h) World peace is elusive, and we would eventually have had to confront Germany. However, after Hitler died, a much softer form of fascism would likely have taken hold. Many of Hitler's generals had far less radical views than he did. If world opinion could affect their well being as much as it did during the latter days of Apartheid in South Africa, Germany would have softened their stance on many issues.

The US would be the USA as it is, Russia would have been Eastern Germany, the economy would be Europe not US
racism would be prevalent, there would not have been a communist world, crime rate would be non existent and I don't think we would have world peace. Hitler was basically in most of the European states and Russia, the Japanese were his allies and there probably would be no China, Hitler and the Japs would have rules the world, Muslims wouldn't be able to do anything as they would be persecuted and half the world would be speaking German. God forbid and I am German. If you ever want to see a movie how it might have been watch "Fatherland" with Rutger Hauer. Scary stuff, I tell you. Thank God we( remember I am German) lost the war.

Of course the world wouldn't be the same. Much of Western Europe would be under Germanic Control. Hitler's Mission may have extended further and conquered Eastern Europe into some of Russia. Of course, this is assuming that after Hilter died that they would have kept up the Nazi Party and not lost any ground.

I don't know that we'd be speaking German - it would have been a HUGE undertaking to conquer the US. It's so large and so far away.

As far as the rest of the "would" questions, it's not easy to tell. It's possible that Jews would have been erradicated and that Christianity would be far more geared towards hate. In America, it would be VERY difficult to be of German origin. Perhaps we would have created our own 'labour' camps to 'protect' them, like we did for the Japanese. Christianity may have become a feared religion, like islam is now in the US, because of what it's associated with.

Even if the war wasn't 'lost' by Hitler, but rather 'settled' by Hitler, the world may be a very different place.

The U.S. might still be intact, but if Europe and Japan had not been defeated we would be very weak (plus Hitler was developing Nukes and long-range bombers). Russia would have been reduced to cinders, Hitler hated the Communists and would have used the nukes on them. Europe would be the center of the world's economy. There would be no racism in Europe, Hitler would have eliminated everyone he considered inferior. Racism would have waned here since we would have pulled together having such an awful enemy across the sea. Proverty in the former Soviet Union would be worse, subjectgated nations don't usually do well. The world would not be as good as it is now, much worse for most people.

Hitler's plan secure anniliating everybody of Jewish good, genetic engineering to create a super race, killing off everybody that substitute into undesirable which secure, the elderly, the disabled, everybody who had a faith many a Catholic went to the camps too. If he had gained i might think of maximum folk nonetheless alive may be talking German and the different languages may be long previous. yet right here in the U. S. i think of this usa could have been divided and Japan might very own something alongside the west coast. for the reason that Hitler had to get Russia it does not exist, no racism if all undesireables have been eradicated, povery does not exist yet for small wallet . There may be international peace despite if it would be a international of masters and slaves.. checkpoints and beating the trees for those they did not desire residing. something out of a few technology fiction books I even have examine. actually no democracy, no presidents, congress, or voting for brand spanking new applicants.

Hitler may have lost but we didn't beat all the Nazis.... if we did then the Grand Mufti wouldn't have escaped to Egypt and continued the business of trying to wipe out the Jews. World War 3 is really just going to be World War 2.5 with the Aryans being replaced by the Aryabs.

Good Question.
The world would not be the same. Nobody knows for certain but i would say if Hitler hadnt been stopped, Russia would have been taken over, the UK would have been taken over....All of Europe would have fell. Japan would have probably not lost either, they would have over-ran China and their surrounding area. It would be a totally different world, a much more evil world. People dont like Bush-I dont like him. But he is not a Hitler. People who compare Bush to Hitler need a history lesson. We would be much worse off today had Hitler and the Japanese not been stopped.

Of course the world would not be the same. 60 years is a long time and since time doesn't stand still. As far as Bush F&S, it is not far fethed for one of both of them could be president and or leader/ruler. Remember, their dad/granddad helped put Hitler in power.

At any rate, Hitler and the Nazi Party would not have lasted very long. There were to many men close to him that were Nazi's by default and not by choice. They were tired of his indecisiveness and my way or the high way leadership style. There would have eventually been a racial civil war amongnst Germans. Hilter constantely changed the standards of purity to determine who was more white then who. There would have been millions of loyalist that faught to the death for him during both world wars I & II and he would have told them they were not white enough therefore you are second class citizen. Germany, Nazism and Hilter all would have been on there death beds.
