Do you think iCleaner iPod & iBook Scratch Remover works for the scratch? Anyone every try it?

Go back in time and buy a scratch resistant cover for it.

If you like smartass's answer (which is true), go to Staples and buy a 10-pack of screen protectors for a Palm or other PDA. They can be cut to the size you need for your LCD and they press into place and stick like a clear colorform. This is the cheapest way to protect the LCD that I know of. Belkin is a "generic" but excellent brand name as opposed to buying the much more expensive Palm brand.

I dont think you can but get something to protect it for the future
they can be bought quite cheaply
