Make yourselves humble under God's powerful hand.
Then, at the right time, He will lift you up.
Throw all your worries onto God, because He cares for you.
1 Pet 5.6-7

Be anxious for nothing,
But in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
Let your requests be made known to God;
And the peace of God,
Which surpasses all understanding,
Will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philipp 4.6-7

Prayer against Depression - by Saint Ignatius of Loyola
O Christ Jesus,
when all is darkness
and we feel our weakness and helplessness,
give us the sense of Your presence,
Your love, and Your strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
in Your protecting love
and strengthening power,
so that nothing may frighten or worry us,
for, living close to You,
we shall see Your hand,
Your purpose, Your will through all things.

For God so loved the word(that's you!) that he gave his only begotten son that he who so ever believes in him shall not parish (spiritually die) but have everlasting life!
This mean that God sent his own son to die on the cross. His son was nailed onto the cross while he watched! And how about Jesus wept! that means that he had times of depression 2! your not alone God loves you and He's there for you all the time! I know how it feel and i will pray that he heels your depression! Read his word, pray and meditate (with GOD)! Ask him to be there with you. And you know that he will help you. If this doesn't help Go to your church and talk to a pastor to help guide you in the right direction. You can also volunteer sometimes looking helping with someone in a more difficult situation then you can make you question why your even sad at all! I will pray for you! I wish for the best!
may God bless you and everyone you love!
P.S. feel better plz!!!!!!!!!

yeah "the rain falls on the just and unjust alike" meaning bad things happen to both good an bad people alike things happen in life we can't always control

maybe god won't take whatever the problem out of your life but u can pray to him to help control the way u feel make the anxiety go away. it really does work for me. another thing that can make depression go away is focusing on the things in life that make u happy the people u love or the things u enjoy. depression is only the devil whispering in the back off your head trying to weigh u down makin u feel worthless making u feel like less of a person. instaed of just trying to become a better person

the Bible makes people more depressed not less depressed. Before you close your mind completely, maybe you should look at the things christians of the past did, and stop brushing them off as not true christians, theyre the real deal, because they make up the majority of the religion, I feel sorry for your kid if you are rasing him christian, because I for one, cannot forgive my mom for such brainwashing, you may assume youre doing the right thing now, but when you die, youll find out its all been a lie, and you duped yourself into believing it, my husband had four NDEs and hes quite an expert about Heaven Hell and the afterlife, in fact maybe he should write a book to inform the ignorant.

The best cure for depression I've ever heard of is to read the Psalms, from the King James bible, out loud, until the depression lifts. Start with say, Psalm 77. Walk around inside your house, and outside if you feel like it, reading out loud and let those spirits know that you know that your God reigns! Give glory and honor to God! Halleluyah!

I will pray for you.

edit:

I would like to add something. When I prayed for God to show me where to tell you would be a good place to start I just opened the bible to the page where Psalm 77 is. I didn't read it until just now. Glory to God he is awesome to save us!!!!

Psalm 77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me. Halleluyah!!!

3 Trust in the LORD, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

5 Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.
6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light,
And your justice as the noonday.

7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath;
Do not fret—it only causes harm.
Psalm 37

Ps.5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
