I think if you read the bible and the Koran you find the Koran a bit more anti non-believer. The hadiths are in parts extremely hate full point out Jews and Christians as the enemy.
I do agree that a lot of Christians fail to see that they are a branch of the same tree. They have lot of similarities. However Christianity has done a lot to improve it self. Something Islam is trying to do. For example Mein Kampf and Protocles of Zion are best sellers in the middle east. Hardly nice loving books.

Jesus said it like this ....Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!for you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourself.
Woe unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites!for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cumin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith, these ought you to have done and not leave the other undone. You blind guides, which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel.
If you don't know these scriptures listen to them good because it was going on in Jesus's day and it is now, I have heard with my own ears the ignorance of what Christan's think about Islam, the preachers use God's word wrong to prove what they say is right and they have been doing it so long now no one questions them
especially now that we had a terror attack.
Apparently Islam is a part of the Antichrist rising, since Baghdad is what used to be Babylon and crap like that.
Don't get me wrong the word of God is not crap to me,but what is being interpreted as truth from it is.
The drinking of blood and eating of flesh is to represent that I really do live by the life that Jesus would have me do and of course it is unleavened bread and wine, but I can understand why it seems weird.

There is one big difference. Christians do not go to war with a bible in their hands, killings innocent people and think they are doing it for Jesus Christ. If anybody thinks about the crusades, I suggest they study the real reason for the crusades and try to explain the fourth crusade that wound up with the ran sacking of one the holiest cities in Christendom, Constantinople.

Father K (above): I think the point is that most Muslims don't strap themselves to bombs either. Both Islam and Christianity have their share of loons: generally speaking, however, we discuss Islam in the way that people might discuss Christianity if the only Christians who ever got any press were former members of the IRA... and if I recall correctly, they were Christians who broke bread and drank wine as you do.
NexusMoon (above): "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" was written by a Christian as propaganda...
William F (above): what about Christians killing abortion clinic doctors...
Simoncyrene (above): you have displayed a complete lack of knowledge of either Islam or the history of Christianity.
Yehoshua: why do you think that your choice of religion is more valid than anyone else's? And how have you missed the massacres committed in the name of Christ?

I had my Fundie brother tell me in response to a question on whether there should be a constitutional amendment outlawing same sex marriage that he agreed that it was not the correct use of the constitution to outlaw same sex marriages but - if same sex marriages become legal than if it was up to him he would scrap the constitution and run this country on "God's Law". I thought that was pretty outrageous as at the time we were fighting a government in Afghanistan that ran their country by "God's Law".

I'll pray for you,but it seems that Satan got a good hold on you. My prayer may not be enough, you have to make a choice and repent for your blaspheme.
The blood is never drank it is symbolic.
When they flew the planes into the towers it was reality, not symbolic, as well as the bombs they put on their kids and tell them to go kill Jews in Israel.
I see who's side your on. You are indeed a Muslim, trying to create strife. So unclean indeed.
i will worship Jesus any day, you can have your Mohammad and all the lies that go with it. i am not afraid of you, but you fear Him who is in me,even the devil fears the Lord.
Ya got nothing now do ya, just your lies and slander and blaspheme, think that will save you?
Well you'll know that when you breath your last breath of life and look for resolve, gee the bridge you just burnt was you only hope, What should one call you...a fool?

How many Christians are suicide bombers blowing up innocent people, flying airplanes into buildings, killing nonbelievers, cutting off hands for stealing, chanting death to Islam, etc. etc. etc. You do the math.
Islamic is barbaric. Now. Maybe xtians did those things in the past but they have become more civilized as most societies have, but not Islam societies---They are doing these things today in this century.

How many Christian fundamentalists have you seen strapping explosives around their waist and blowing themselves up in a crowd?
I am a Pentecostal Christian. We have no reputation for committing acts of violence. Why do you stereotype and slander Christians? Your malice and hatred make you like those you would criticize. Who is the real hypocrite?
