The last time I asked atheists why they insist on asking Christians questions, they said that he was trying to educate me. Christians don't need to be educated about religion. This is what Jesus said to the disciples.
"Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. . . . 13Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matthew 13:11
"27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. . "

Athiest ( or so called athiest) are just lost souls who have hardened their hearts to the truth and the life from Christ. Jesus said, I am the WAY the Truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
Shake the dust from your feet in the cities where they refuse to listen to the gospel. (this is what Christians are commanded to do in the BIBLE)

To me, the most retarted question printed by potential of an athiest are the troll ones. I received't reproduction any because there are quite some in this website. besides trolls, I dont truly understand of any "stupid" serious questions requested by potential of atheists yet there are some annoying ones that are printed lots. a million. in case you there truly is a God then why no longer practice it? the answer is uncomplicated, we are able to not. we trust and trust there is one. basically an identical as you should trust there is no longer one. Many athiests are aggravated that we answer again, practice there is no longer one. for sure, aggravated atheists argue again you are able to't practice a adverse. therefore, we shrug and say, your the single which requested the irritating question interior the first position! lol.

As a true Christian, the only education I need is what God provides to me through his written word by his Holy Spirit as this world is passing away and so is it's desires. Soon this system of things will be gone and God's new system of things will replace it, therefore, why do I need their empty philosphies and theories which will not prepare me for God's kingdom?

You asked every atheist on earth "why they insist on asking Christians questions" and each and every one of them said " they were trying to educate you"? Wow... you are truly amazing!!! It's funny I don't recall you asking me that question. Whats even funny-er is most atheists and agnostics are labeled that so bible thumpers can identify those who carry no religion, but it is the holly rollers that insist on cramming their god down every ones throats. If everyone just child a little and just loved each other for what they are, look how many wars would have been avoided. But then again ... there comes that ego and pride...

I don't feel the need to educate Xtians. I don't get paid for it. I do think that Xtians and Atheists ENJOY bothering one another. All of us get a strange sense of satisfaction from tweaking the enemy side. We're stuck in a dance as rigid as the chorus of a Greek tragedy.
I do think that debate...even hostile mocking debate like frequently exists here....can do nothing but help both sides commitment. It's John Stuart Mill's free market place of ideas.....we're yelling at one another across the aisle hawking our wares.

I didn't read your bible verses, as most ancient literature bores me.
When atheists ask questions of Christians it's partly because we are trying to figure out why someone would believe or even want to believe in Jesus and god. To us outsiders, Christianity has no appreciable difference from Dungeons and Dragons. If you knew someone who played DND into their 40s and 50s, wouldn't you be perplexed as to why? To us, it's all fantasy and we're perplexed why so many people still choose to play Christianity once they've grown up.

You may be an exception, but I know a great many Christians who are quite ignorant, even of the history of their own holy book.
That said, this atheist does not feel the need to educate anyone.
I come here to educate myself.

well, sometimes Atheists and Agnostics will seek to engage the presumed innate intelligence in a Christian by asking questions in the hopes that in answering the cliche way Christians often do that one may have an intellectual epiphany.
PS but alas ... the Bible warns against education and logical progression. it's foolish to be wise and exercising one's intellect is a sin.

Nobody is trying to educate you. Your delusional beliefs are being challenged. There is a difference. For example, if I asked you why Mary and Joseph went to Bethlehem, you would trot out the standard replies instead of telling me that they didn't. You have no knowledge of history or how inaccurate the Bible is.

Asking questions is a tried-and-true educational technique. Goes all the way back to Socrates. You could look it up.
