I am only have 1 bridesmaid/maid of honor, my sister. She is going to be wearing a cornflower blue dress with white trim. We are having a really hard time finding shoes. I don't like the idea of blue shoes, I thought maybe a matte silver would be good, but we are having trouble finding any that she can wear. Do you think it would be okay for her to wear white? It's a June wedding....... Thanks!

Don't write off white bridesmaid's shoes as a no-no. You're the bride. If you're OK with, everyone else should be too. I had nine bridesmaids, wearing alternating pink or blue dresses (my favorite colors, not a baby announcement), and they all wore different shoes. Blue, pink, silver AND white. As long as you're happy, don't sweat the small stuff. Happy wedding!

I would have suggest an eggshell with the dress but since it has white trim, I don't think white would be bad. Make sure they're a matte finish, not shiny.
Matte silver would be good.
You might want to see what a real dark blue like navy would look with the dress, even if it is June.

i think of silver shoes might look greater advantageous, yet white must additionally artwork or perhaps a beige. I applaud you for pondering the funds of your bridesmaids. All to in lots of situations I see women individuals in this internet site posting p.c.. of the bridesmaids dresses and am appalled on the fee. There are way too many brides watching for his or her attendants to place out hundreds of greenbacks for dresses, shoes, bridal showers, bachelorette events, etc. You sound like an exceptionally considerat bride. Congrats on your engagement.

If she already has the dress, buy her a couple of pairs of white shoes, then you can check it out. Make sure you save the receipts and don't cut off the tags and have her try them on along with the dress in a clean, carpeted area (such as a living room or formal room). Then you can return them if it wasn't a good idea.

I bought two pairs of shoes for my wedding, asked my husband which ones he preferred and then returned one pair.

White is fine for shoes. My bridesmaids are also wearing light blue and they're wearing white shoes.

i don't see any problem with the white shoes. If it bothers you that much. Hot glue some blue small flowers or something to her shoes.
