My dad is NEVER home, you might think I am not telling the complete truth, but I am! He has been on vacation 3 times this month! He is gone from 8:30 to 7:00 - 8:00 every day. When he is home he sleeps over half the time. I have tried to talk to him about it, but he doesn't seem to care. ( I have tried like 4 times every month ) What do I do???? :(

when he gets home one night, tell him that you have something really important to tell him. ask him to please listen to you and not cut you short. then tell him how you feel, and what you think of his 3 vacations a month. hopefully he will understand.

good luck=]

Try to leave a message for him saying it is important for you to tell him something. Email him or write it down and let him know about it. If you can find any pictures or videos of the times you were together use it creatively to let him know you miss him and how his presence matters to you. Ask him to take you with him when he goes for vacations next time. Talk to a person your dad listens to seriously, maybe your mom or relatives. It is valentine's day soon tell your dad how much you love him by a card or gift! Hope that helps. Wish you luck.

Ask him what he is done on his vacations and ask if you could go with him one time. Tell him you would like to spend some quality time together and that you miss him. If he is too busy then leave him a note or an email. Keep pressing the issue till he gives in.

Write down a letter to express your feelings. Then, hang it on the fridge or his car or something so he will see it.
