someone told you about the things he or she and your gf, bf, wife, husband, lover etc. did in the past.
Would you like hearing about your bf, gf etc. past?
Would you go after them or just walk away?

Don't let anyone disrespect you or the one you are with.

Well if my boyfriend was telling me about a past girl, Most the time I would enjoy it just because I can reassure him that I can do better, so he'll definetely want me and stop thinking about that (think about it this way, after me, he'll be talkin about what he did with ME)

on the other hand, if he's talkin just to brag about what he can do ill just say talk is cheap lol i wouldnt really take somethin like that seriously most the time I'd probably tell him stories too

I'm guessing that what they are sharing with you from the past is not something you really wanted to hear. What I don't understand is them being the one to walk away from telling you what they did in the past......There are some things better left unsaid.

Well this wouldn't happen because I would ask the person I am with before I even declare them someone significant in my life about their past, and if someone else told me something differently than what they told me and I believed it than I wouldn't want to be with them anymore. Because that makes them a liar.

I think for someone to tell your significant other about things from your past that are private is very tacky and disrespectful. What's past is past and no longer matters. If they were speaking out of line about my girl than I would definitely shut them up.

don't let it get to you, and walk away. it may not even be the truth anyway. even if it is true, it's the past, and that's where it should stay. the person saying these things to you is just trying to start trouble, and the best way to defeat them is to not let it bother you. that will spoil their dirty little plan faster than anything.
Best Wishes

I would tell them that i dont want to hear about it because it is not a picture you need to have in your head. That it is disrespectful to you for them to talk about what happened before when she or he is no longer with them.

Depends how it's presented, if it's light hearted fun poking, that's fine, but if it sounds like an attempt to stir trouble, I'd put a stop to it.

They couldn't tell me anything I don't already know, so I'd walk away if they were trying to be insulting, or agree if they were praising him.

If the story this persona wanted to tell me was interesting I wouldn't go, but if it bored me, I would definitely leave.

I don't think I would want to know about my boyfriend's past. what happened in the past, happened in the past.
