i'm 14 and kind of a geek...how can I make a boy notice me, or even become my friend and actually hug me? ii'm really shy and quiet at school. I flirt with someboys but there isn't really any one who likes me like that!

I just don't get it, then again, I guess I do. I was 14 once and even though you're studies should be the most important thing right now, they aren't. You are not a geek. Thinking that of yourself will radiate the vibes to others. If you don't like you, how can you expect others to. At your age, everything has to happen right now. It doesn't. Begin by liking yourself. You will see the difference it makes. Give it time and a boy will approach you when you least expect it. Running after guys isn't cool.

Whatever you do, just be yourself. Don't do nothing out of your character. The boy you're talking about may be shy himself, so make the first move and see what happens. If it don't turn out, then no big deal, there will be other guys. Just don't be a fake. I wish you the best of luck.

well im 15 and im not quite a geek but i think i can help. first you have to pick a guy. and get to know him and become his friend & all adn then just as your fliriting with them taking it to the "next" level isnt that much more then just friendship. when your friends with guys, you should try to treat them the same way you treat your gal pals. i mean dont stress on it too much but hey a hell of a lot of guys watch american idol ;) good luck.

Do a make over on your clothes , make up , hair style. Try to work on your confidence fitness and sports is good for that. Or join a club at your school to meet boys.Good luck don`t rush it your very young still and have lots of time ahead of you for dating.

Tell the guys who you flirt with to give you a hug. Just be yourself, and dont change who you are and guys will like you more for that. Good luck.

honestly the only way to help is get used to talking to people you aren't so familiar with. an easy way id just start off talking small and then progress once you get to know the person better. dont be afraid to let people know you're single and looking... it cant hurt.

How do you know that there isnt anyone who likes you like that? I am sure there is even if they have not told you so.
You just have to make the effort to talk to them.

i heard this advice from a friend and that is "attraction isnt a choice" meaning you cant force people to like you. If they like you, they like you, if they dont, then nothing you can do or say will ever change it
