Probably the most acclaimed Oregon Pinot Noir right now is the 2003 Archery Summit Arcus Estate. It was in the top 30 of Wine Spectator's top 100 list for 2006. It was rated 95 points and is really quite tasty. The retail on this was $75, but it has since sold out at the winery, so one may end up paying more than that for a bottle.
Argyle's Nuthouse Pinot Noir 2003 is also supposed to be quite good. I have a bottle but have not tried it yet. It's retail price was $45 and you may still be able to find some onthe shelves.
Personally, while I own severeal cases of the Arcus, I really really love Domaine Drouhin's Pinots. Their 03&04 vintages are so yummy. And both their regular label and their better label (Laurene) are just spectacular with food.
Domaine Serene is known for having well rated Pinots, but they aren't really my style. I prefer a Burgundian Pinot, big and full of lots of tastes. I find Serene's styles a little too light for my tastes. However, they are flavour filled and would be fabulous with the right type of food.
Ken Wright is also known for having awesome Pinots. If you see some of his at a reasonable price, grab them and try them. They can be PRICEY, but it may be worth a try.
Have fun!
