It may be with you for life,no cure.I have had it for 10 yrs after loud music at a bar.I have searched and not found a solution. From now on you MUST protect your ears from ANY loud noise or it will get so bad and loud you will wish you were deaf instead,it will be that bad.Music should never be at a level higher than normal conversation.I hope it goes away for you,it may if your time with loud music was very short.I have talked with several people who deal with this problem and study for a cure. They all say it could be decades. What a shame for this condition to be such a low priority for our medical researchers.

Ringing in Ears
Symptoms & Signs Index

Together with other abnormal ear noises, ear ringing is medically called tinnitus. Buzzing, roaring, and pulsitile sounds are sometimes perceived when no sound is present in persons with tinnitus.

Tinnitus can arise in any of the four sections of the ear: the outer ear, the middle ear, the inner ear, and the brain. Tinnitus is often accompanied by hearing loss. For a description of the anatomy of the ear.

What you are describing is called tinitus. The ringing in your ears is from the tiny microscopic hair follicles in your ear canal laying down, allowing more vibration off your tympanic membrane. You need to keep the music lower, as this is most likely the cause. The hairs do not rebound easily, and you can have permanent hearing damage if you don't take care of your ears. Good luck.

Stop listening to loud music!

Hearing loss is culmulative. It's no accident that rock muscians, if they live long enough, have hearing loss.

You'll thank me in 30 years.

thats what we call Tinitis
its rather due to fungal infection or due to slight decrese in the power of hearing
