I recall people feeling the same way in 1974, when another group of people (Northern Irish Catholics) in the same city were made to feel the heat of English hate - so much so that they became the Birmingham Six...and were jailed for life, and after serving sixteen years in prison were released after new evidence (or old evidence - take your pick) came to light.
The death of Mr. Menezes at Stockwell tube station and the cowboy-style shooting up of a house in East London, of which a 'suspect' was shot also might be making police in Birmingham extra careful this time...and not merely of the London machismo shoot-ups, but of the last incident that involved 'terrorists' in Birmingham.

Britishlol...'defend my country'? It's mine as well, but have been somewhat depressed to see how many innocent people have suffered in this 'defence' - and how people who merely LOOK LIKE them have had to put up with abuse from the so-called 'law abiding taxpayer' (id est; caucasian Daily Mail readers who are not too keen on anyone who doesn't go to the same social club as they do). There indeed are scum who want to turn 'my country' (to quote you) into a paranoiac box, but how about thinking about the majority of Asians - if they were born here, or not - who are just as terrified as you and me.

Mohammed Abdul Kahar had been arrested by police on suspicion of making pornographic pictures of children, and was in custody at a London police station. He denied the allegations. No charges were brought against him...why was that, Jungleboy? I'm sure you're going to enlighten us with your knowledge - and on the subject of De Menezes...it was true, he was an illegal immigrant - but I'm sure your employment of the term is to have us dears immediately think of a Daily Mail front-page dirge.

Nice to see you answering another one of my questions, Caracas...by the way - welcome to Yahoo answers. As you've only been on here for mere hours, could be in time you might accept that not all might accept your side of things - are you a serving policeman, or, like jungleboy, an ex-cop (for whatever reason). But again in time, you'll find lots waiting to take you into their wee breasts - especially a wee lass from Wales...who I suspect hasn't a bad bone in her body, but good with words and will use her clever terminology to bring people not unlike you out of the woodwork.

John Charles deMenezes was an illegal immigrant, okay so he didn't deserve to be shot, but a criminal he was nevertheless. As for the Forest Gate raid, yes again the intelligence was wrong but it turned out one of those "good boys who never did nothing wrong" was found to be a pedophile. The question you have to ask yourself is if the intelligence was there and we didn't act on it and something terrible happened like a 7/7 plot then who would be blamed. The Police and the security services are in a Catch-22 situation.

In answer to the question either:
A) if they are innocent - no one (unless the nine can get a juicy pay out from the goverment)
or B) if the really did intend to chop someones head of - the intened target, justice the general UK population etc etc

I glad to see that you have already made your mind up and decided that they are inncoent and yet more victims of white Christaian protestant racist police sponsored hate!

The above poster really spells it out. Its all whites killing and raping etc. Non whites have had enough!
Really when will people like this poster get a grip and accept were all as bad as each other. "Racism" exists worldwide in some form or another and is carried out by people of all creeds and colours. Yes I am white and am tired of the lazy accustaion that white people are more racist than other ethnic groups.

A huge world-wide racial war is coming. Islam is but the tip of the iceberg. Non-whites have had enough with white racism and violence. They have been invading our countries, killing our men, raping our women and enslaving our children for centuries.

Enough is enough.

how much more of this nonsense do we have to put up with? why should i have to defend my country and my rights against people who aren't from here and obviously don't like the place - why else would they want to blow it up?
