i owe loans and never phsically recieve the deploma

If you graduated, you have your degree. Unless you owe the school, they should give you your diploma. If you do, they may not confirm your degree if anyone checks.

Note: No one has ever asked to see my diploma.

If you took out a student loan or any loan for school, whether you graduate or not doesn't matter, you still need to repay the loan.

If you did graduate but didn't get your diploma, contact the school and find out what you need to do to get your diploma.

If you don't owe money to the school then you should have your degree. Many people have degrees and still owe money on student loans.
You can get unofficial transcripts that show you completed your degree requirements and would show any degrees you were awarded.

You dont have to have the physical diploma. Usually once you complete the degree requirements you have to APPLY for the degree with the college and they will determine if you met the requirements. If you have, you get the diploma.
