Wal Mart sells them. If you can wait, you can also find some very inexpensive ones on ebay. Google HDMI cables and I'm sure you will find many places selling them.

It's not overpriced, you are paying for quality. If you are spending all that money on high def, and a good tv, why would you want to skimp on the cables? Better cables = better performance out of your components. Try the site below, they offer fairly good discounts on most items.

There are many, good discount retailers on-line that are not you're common, house-hold names (ie, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) that specialize in home theater cabling.

Just remember one thing you get what you pay for. Better shielding less chance of RF or other interference.
