How do I use my control S function on my tv? What type of wires do I need? Can I use the same tv remote?

Controls S, also called Control-A1, are the names for a remote control system for compatible Sony equipment. You may continue to us the same TV remote. Most likely you’ll want a new remote that has controls for all equipment you connect together. Control S uses a 1/8” Mini Stereo Pug – the cable is less than $5

Control S would allow you to control a compatible Sony DVD player placed behind a wooden cabinet door connected to the Sony TV.
