My fiance today left for Army training, out of state for 4 months. He's not usaully controlling on me. He called me at the place when he got there. We talked a bit, but he was being rude and controlling.
Here was some of the stuff he said: "Ill beat you, if you cheat." That sounded serious to me. He had never ever tried hitting me. He knows, i never will. And he kept on making me to say i lvoe you to him. Is it cause we're apart and he's worried and he's being tougher cause of the army?

Any man who says to his woman "I'll beat you if you cheat" deserves to be DUMPED, FAST. It doesn't matter WHY he's doing this ... what matters is that you are seeing a very violent, controlling side of him, and you don't like it ... even though you may still 'love him.' So, DUMP HIM NOW ... don't wait, because that will just make it harder ... and TELL HIM WHY ... that no man will ever 'threaten you' the way he did and still be your 'boyfriend/fiance/husband' or even FATHER.

Pay attention. This is the man you plan to marry. There could be a lot of things going on.
He may be angry to be away and it is coming out sideways.
He may have been drunk.
He may have cheated and feels guilty and afraid that if he could do it you might too.
He may just be a creep.
Please pay attention and both of you get some counseling before you move ahead with your plans for marriage.

hes afraid of losing you and doesnt want you to sleep with anyone while hes gone. and he may want proof of your faitfullness.
