hmmm..steamed brocoli, string beans with carrots and sweet potatoes, splash a little bit of olive oil, then have some wild rice with a peice of salmon, marinated in lemon juice, pepper, salt, garlic and some ginger. add a salad with some lettuce, carrots, cherry tomatoes, and use olive oil with some herbs as a dressing instead of those ranch or italian dressins. if still hungry add a toasted roll or some nice bread with low fat butter. for a drink, some nice hot tea with honey or perhaps freshly made lemonade.and of course water is always good..

I love - fish and a tossed salad, i also love to add a pasta salad, but if your worried about the calories maybe dont have the pasta salad... I also love to add grated carrot & cheese...yummy..

it all depends on the circumstances. Consider who it's for, what they like and your abilities.
Hot date- (something they like -spicy, end with chocolate for desert- maybe you'll be desert)
Friends- something that everyone likes with wine. (alcohol is always a big deal)
Children- soup (use all your vegetables)

A salad first.......Then a nice fat juicy steak (medium-rare) with some mashed potatoes(or baked pot) and maybe some french style green beans (or corn)!!!!!!!
Wash it down with a ice cold beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
