I have really thin hair, and when i say thin i mena REALLY THIN! I straighten it almost everyday, i know it damages your hair blah blah but otherwise it looks like a mess. When i straighten it it never stays straight at school, it always goes wavy and i have to wash my hair EVERYDAY which gets rather annoying otherwise it would look extremly greasy. Oh and i used tresemme shampoo, ive stopped using conditioner, makes it look even more greasy. And does anyone have any tips on what to do with ym hair for school, as its really thin theres nowt much to do with it, for me its iether up or down.

I had a similar problem to yours, except my hair is really thick (thin individual hairs, zillions of strands), and the wave (almost a curl) is only in the back, the sides are retardedly straight (I look like a evergreen tree, LoL!). I use a shampoo (garnier fructis) for oily hair, and only apply the conditioner to the mid and bottom section of my hair. Once my hair is towel dried, I apply a straightening balm (Got 2 Be) about 2 inches from the roots and down. Then I comb it straight and blow dry it in a downwards motion. If your drier has a "cool shot" button, that will help to lock in the style after the heat has dried it. When that's all said and done, I style it how I want it, add a bit (I stress a BIT) of pomade or styling paste to lock in the style and prevent flyaways. I know it sounds like alot to do, but once you get used to it, you should be able to do it in about 10 mins. Oh, and if your careful to keep it away from the roots, and not run your fingers through your hair much throughout the day, this should let you get away without washing for atleast 2 days. Hope this helped! Good luck!

I've realised that getting greasy hair sometimes happens because the shampoo isn't washed out the hair properly. One time my hair got super greasy but I took a pretty fast shower, make sure you get all the shampoo/conditioner out of your hair, and make sure you don't use loads and loads of it, especially conditioner. My hair always goes wavy & POOFY! Its horrible, but I straighten it anyway, not everyday though. And it gets all static but atleast its kind of straight. Just make sure the shampoo is all washed out. It could just be that your hair needs to be washed every day otherwise it'll get greasy fast, some people have that. Goodluck..

That's really strange for it to be greasy without conditioner and being washed daily... you need to add some baby powder or baking soda (b/c it's scentless) and it will soak up some of the grease. There must be some detail that is making it be so greasy, do you sweat alot? If your hair is really long it might be a time for a trim which tends to thicken it up. It's really good to ask the hairdresser while you are there, professional advice.

Well do u want thin hair or thick hair? If u want it to stay thin, keep flat ironing everyday. If you want thick hair, add more volume to it by buying hair products.

Greasy hair...try sunsilk or herbal essance drama clean shampoo designed for straight hair
