Try these 3 DVD's from Gaiam: Yoga Conditioning for Weight Loss, Quick Start Yoga for Weight Loss, and Yoga for Weight Loss Maintenance all with yoga instructor Suzanne Deason.

Includes 15-minute morning yoga practice CD and bonus online access to a complete holistic weight loss/nutrition guide designed by wellness expert and life coach Dr. James Rouse. Suitable for all levels.

I highly recommend these DVD's. As a certified yoga instructor, I have watched many yoga instructional DVD's and Gaiam by far has produced the best. They offer clear instructions and are beautifully shot.

I do yoga almost everyday, and not only have I lost weight (and maintained it), but I have noticed that I have toned yet lean muscles.

Exercise is as important as a good diet, especially when it comes to losing weight. It is not so much how much calories you eat but what type of food you're eating. While decreasing your calorie intake will surely help, you have to make sure that you're still eating healthy and nutritious food such as fresh fruits and vegetables (best to eat them raw, as in salads), whole grains and healthy protein alternatives such as tofu and yogurt. Decrease your consumption of red meat, junk food and soda.

Yes: Try Bikram Yoga, also known as "Hot Yoga". You do a series of 26 postures in a heated room for an hour-and-a-half, and you will feel fantastic afterwards. It definitely will help you lose weight if you do it regularly and combine that with healthy eating. I have tried other forms of Yoga, but really love Bikram.

I know it is wonderful, but not sure on weight loss. From what I have heard, it just kinda strengthens your muscles...I had a friend who dropped a dress size from it, but her weight on the scale was the same.
