Are First Class Stewardesses better looking than Coach Stewardesses? If so, is this legal for Airlines to do?

I have had different experiences on different airlines applying to your topic. On Singapore Airlines, (in First Class) I had very pretty women as my stewardesses but they still had 11 years experience. Same with Japan Airlines, and Iberia. Air Canada they are usually a bit older but are excellent. Same with British Airways, American Airlines, Continental, US Airways, and Delta. I haven't traveled in coach for a very long time so I can't say for sure but I can say the First Class stewardesses/stewards are always much more experienced and better to deal with. Also, this is perfectly legal for an airline to do because they "less pretty" stewardess still has a job, it is the airlines choice of their position on the aircraft.

Don't believe this is so. Think assignment is on seniority. When I have flown first class in the past, most of the year, the stewardesses seats are in front of me so I can see all of them and the first class ones seem to be the older ones.

No! The lead flight attendant assigns each crew member to a section on the plane on which their serving at. He/she doesn't assign people to a section based on prettiness. If they did do that then everybody would look at the coach flight attendants and think "shes one of the not so pretty looking flight attendant aboard this flight!"

Can you please call us flight attendants?? Stewardess kind of sounds like were there to serve food instead of for safety!!!

Not necessarily, but they usually have more flying experience/seniority.

they are the same stewartesses. they don't hire special ones jus tfor first class
