The theory of gravity, atomic theory, the theory of relativity, and the theory that the earth revolves around the sun, are all guesses, right?

After all, they are all "only theories", just like evolution.

They can be duplicate in the lab, evolution cannot. To prove gravity, all you need is

A crane;
A length of rope;
A bowling ball; and
an 8' X 4' X 4' stack of bricks.

The brick will attract the bowling ball. Did that experiment when I was in junior high school, almost 40 years ago.

To prove Evoluntion, except what has taken place since creation, is wrong, just look to the human brain.

Studies, like that done by the University of Michigan, and features in the Discovery Channel program, The Amazing Life of the Human Brain, shows just how amazing the human brain is.

Every second while awake, we are absorbing 40MBs of data per second. That’s 144 gigabytes per hour and about 2 terabytes per day. That’s a lot of data even for the largest computer. When we sleep at night, and only at night or under nighttime conditions, all that data is sorted and stored through the creation of synaptic connectors and biochemical bounds. The brain has enough volume to allow for the creation of these storage connectors to last over 10,000 years.

Without the need of a creator, what evolutionary pressure could cause the need for this much volume that would take that long to fill? Clearly, man was either created by God to live that long, or if evolve, once lived that long, and has since de-evolved to what we are today. Which do you think it is?

Evolution does take place, in that animals have evolved and humans have de-evolved since the time of the creation. Many divergent species are related, such as the Meerkat/Hyena and the Lion/House cat. A house cat can breed with a lion, I wonder if the same is possible the Hyena and Meerkat?

This is why I believe in God. I use the brain he gave me, and designed for me, to determine something beyond imagining.

The theory of gravity does not explain how gravity works. Various equations involving quantum mechanics don't prove anything - Newton made an observation that gravity exists and then came up with the big G formula (and constant), but recent questions from the scientific world involving what gravity is are causing doubt about some hard ground rules that were written by him. Atomic theory is based on chemistry (element make up), theories of radiation and critical mass. No one has ever seen an atom, so nothing proved. But the theory allows individuals to measure something. Take electricity for instance - all scientists say that it is a sharing of electrons via a common conductor due to excessive charges at the conductor end - this is good theory, but no one has "proven" what electricity is, and yet it can be measured and sold as a product.

Relativity is a good theory and actually works in mathematical practice until it comes to light - no one knows what light is and therefore scientists throw all kinds of schemes at it but never tell anyone what it is. Observations only. Theory only.

Actually, the earth does revolve around the sun. Mentions in the Bible of the sun rising are for purposes of observation only and therefore anyone stating the fact that the sun will rise and set are not incorrect if based on principle rather than accurate mathematical statement.

Problem. We are not far from the rennaisance effort, nor the beginning of the industrial age. People think they are in the information age, but let me tell you what I observe. A lot of people today have big heads filled with little.

Now concerning the theory of evolution, I would like scientists to explain to me why they believe in entropy (everything naturally tends to disarray and a null state) except when it comes to animals on earth who tend to higher forms of life? No scientist can answer that except the ones who teach that evolution is a theory even as Darwin himself stated (and even he doesn't believe it), but the world loves this deception because it allows them to soothe their consciences with the lie that God does not exist.

Gravity exists, Atoms Exist, Relativity to an extent exists, the Earth Revolves around the sun. All that was known by the Jews and the Actually Ancient Christian (not to be mistaken for the Catholics), know all that or were in the process of finding it. Atheists however have not made any discoveries.

Actually a theory means unproven.Gravity,atomics,relativity,and earths rotation have been proven[at lest to a point]but what about the [theory]of an extra long day,wrote about in the bible and other ancient documents,the flood, in the bible and other ancient documents,proven by your science,but yet no proof of evolution.Of course this will mean nothing to you because of your religion.Ya you have one you just won't admit it.

Probbaly 95% of people in this section, and upto 50% in "Science and Mathematics" could not define a theory correctly if they tried. I blame poor teaching.

How many of these theories have been tested and proven to be real. Evolution and Relativity have never been tested.

Even though they are called theories they've been proven. Evolution is a theory because it hasn't and never will be proven. Well, acutally it can be proven WRONG.

evolution is the alternative to the truth that people want to believe because they do not want to submit to God or give up sin. So they will believe the alternative, which is a man made "idea" and does not even make sense. I am surprised at just how many people actually believe in evolution- but then again God even tells us in His word that many will "exchange the truth for a lie" as it says in Romans 1:25

Yes, and they want all these theories to become "laws" before they will budge. Yuk yuk.

oh Phoebe the definition of a theory is that it has been PROVEN time and time again and has yet to be proven wrong.
