can you explain what kind of lifelong learning things, you learn in the army

Many things including orienteering, managing others, organizing your task, self defense, problem solving, better judgment.
The most important thing my son & relatives have learned is how to get along with others. As an Officer, he plays nice when people are really different than him.

just like life and a career job, you are constantly learning new things. New technology, new experiences, etc....
