how do i tell a boy i like him?

i like this boy. how can i tell him i like him? other friends have told him but i want to tell him myself. any suggestions.

Out of experience the best way for me to tell i guy that i liked him was by writtng it down that way you can express everything you feel about him on the paper and you dont have to worry about blushing if you were to tell him how you feel face to face. just write him a note and then mabey he'll write you back telling you how he feels!

The next time you're talking with him, touch him. Just slip your arm around his waist, or put your hand on his back for a moment (just a brief touch.)

If he shrugs you off or asks you not to do it, then you know he doesn't like you (but you can play it off as if it meant nothing); on the other hand, if he stops breathing for a moment or stiffens for a moment, then he probably has an interest in you.

Touching a boy is really a terrific way to get him thinking "ooh, she's touching me, does she like me?" -- and so a momentary breathing pause, or stiffening with temporary panic -- or "ooh, why is she touching me?" -- and so a shrug-off or out-and-out rejection.

It's the safest way to gauge it without taking an inordinate social risk. Oh, he might also immediately reciprocate; if he does, he's either very comfortable with physical intimacy (not common in the young, but it exists) or sees no significance to the touch (so probably thinks of you as a friend.)

Finally -- if your friends have already told him, and he hasn't made a move, that should tell you something.

i think she probably likes the other guy and is waiting for something to happen with him. if it doesn't she'll come to you for sure. i think she is just liking the attention from two boys though.. its tough i have the same thing with a girl, she acts like she likes me a lot, she tells me she feels insecure about my ex etc so she must be thinking of me in the bf/gf way right? well i'm starting to think women are just as bad if not worse than men!

Lord that is a hard thing to do, but if you really like this guy, go after him!

Tell him that you would like to go do something fun with him after school, or eat lunch with him. Catch him in the hallway, cafeteria, or library. He'll get the point!

If you are shy, write a note. Don't be coy, just get straight to the point. Oh...and don't forget to sign your name. (What if he mistakes you for someone else?)

So, he already knows so you don't necessarily have to come out and say, "I like you." Make him chocolate chip cookies. That ought to get your point across, unless he's a few cards short a full deck (in other words, slow on the uptake). If someone did that for me I'd be touched.
