not to insult all mexicans, but everytime I go through the drive through of Del Taco, they ask me what kind of sauce I want and I tell them. Sometimes they don't really ask what kind and just say "sauce?" ANd I say "mild please" and then they don't (never) pay attention and they always end up giving me a different kind of sauce! It's really annoying!

to the first answer--because most of them are mexican! or at least from south of the border.

to the second answer--what makes me assume they are being rude? Helloo! Didn't I specifically ask for Mild sauce? Unless they are deaf or they have hard of hearing, they should do what the customer asks.

to the third answer--I'm not being racist, but from my experiences, they are very rude.

But just think of it from my perspective. Everytime I come there, I get (just like you said) "crappy" service. It never gets old, but it quickly gets annoying!

"Not just Mexicans but most anyone can and will be rude, especially if a person they are dealing with is rude, ignorant, condescending, etc."

Well I was never rude to them, like I said before. I said "Please...".

"Some people just have trouble hearing correctly, understanding, don't care, or many other reasons."

Okay, that's true, but doesn't that not caring thing qualify as being rude?

I don't think I have ever had a "Mexican" serve me at any Del Taco."

Well I'm taking you're not from California then. And stop being b*tchy! Excuse me, but I think you're trying to insult me but hiding it. I'm not stupid! i can see what you're trying to do!

Why did you group all mexicans together and say they are irresponsible and rude because of an experience at a fast food drive thru? I've had every race under the sun mess up fast food orders! It happens! Get over it! Race doesn't matter. I'm mexican and I am not irresponsible or rude. Geez, for something as simple as some taco sauce you are judging a whole race. Not to be rude or anything...but I think that is pretty ignorant. If you don't know the meaning of the word...check it out below. And please, learn some tolerance. If you let something as simple as taco sauce set you off...how do you deal with the real problems that life throws at you?

Well that sucks. I'm Mexican and I'm not rude or irresponsible, but then again I wouldn't work at Taco Bell.
I have the same experience, but it's all different races. I've actually asked a similar question excluding any race references. My responses were along the line of: Would you be happy to work at Taco Bell?
Next time complain to the manager or stay at the window till you make sure your get the right sauce. Maybe you'll get a free taco out of it!

I don't think that because of one single moron who didn't give you your sauce that makes "all Mexicans in the world rude", that is incredibly funny. But you can not generalize, there are millions of Mexicans with high degrees, masters, well educated person, hey.. look at a map it's a huge country.Another thing put yourself int their place it's allot of stress to be handelling so many orders at such a fast pace.

It's fast food. It's confusing for them, too. I'm a smart, capable person...but after I rang up 45 or so orders while working a shift at a sandwich joint, I couldn't tell someone what 100-55 was. It's just too much stress. Speak slowly, make things clear, and be patient. It's a general problem in fast food, not among any particular race, group, or regional residents.

Think about how much they are gettin paid just to work in Del Taco. If i was getting paid that amount, I would probably do a crappy job too.

You are stereo-typing Mexican. The Del Taco employee where you get your food or any fastfood stores are always under stress to get the food to you fast and accurate. Sometimes, they are getting your order ready at the same time taking order from another customer on their headset. It is stressful and very hectic when there are long line of people waiting to be serve. Bear with them. I think many of them are always under pressure to get orders out as soon as possible. Try going to Del Taco when they are not so busy, you're get their full attention.

Why single out Mexicans when there are rude and irresponsible people of every race?? I would not judge a nationality based on a fast food experience.

I'm frankly amazed at your ability to project characteristics onto an entire nation of people based on your experience at a fast-food drive through.
