Yeah, especially if the guy is shy...if you feel something, someone has to initiate it. But if you're into the old fashioned kind of romance like I am, it's a little weird. I'd do it if he really is shy though.

I think it's a bad idea when you're very young. If you get rejected it could stay with you forever.
Once you're in your mid 20's, I think then it's OK to ask a guy out...in fact, some men prefer to be asked out b/c it means they don't have to work as hard.
But when you're young, they get scared most of the time. They are intimidated by your confidence.

i see no reason girls can't ask guys out ..it shows we have just as much power as a man does
