Rather sorry love! i've got this bit of a habit as where i take long processes to say the most simple of things. I've got anotha though. How do you forgive a loved one for betraying you? for instance how do you forgive a mother for giving you up for adoption because she 'wasnt ready' then meet her ten years later n discover she has lass barley 9 months apart from you? is it imature to considered that betrayal?

I would ask myself If I had a good up bringing.
if the answer was yes then I wouldn't care and I would be thankful. (that's me)
maybe losing you was too much and she didn't want to go through it again none the less maybe she should have had a cap on it.

Have you met her? Maybe after she gave you up she felt it was wrong. Maybe she was young and wild. Maybe she got pregnant again and didn't want to make the same mistake of giving away another child. I have had to forgive someone who betrayed me badly and it took me over 15 years. I wish I had forgiven sooner. I feel better and the person I had forgiven was my ex. We speak but are not together. I am happy. Yes your hurt but time heals all wounds. Maybe having a conversation with her will help understand her better. My mom was a wild, parting, kinda girl and loved sex with diffrent men. She is now elderly and I have spoken with her about lots of stuff and we have forgiven each other. She wasn't a good mom but she didn't give us up. So you see, Give it thought and forgive when ready. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes we can't take back. Good luck
