If she's your girlfriend yes you should ask, why would she lie about something like that? The fact that you even suspect that she's lying then maybe you two shouldn't be together anyway. What kind of person would go that far to lie about something needs help, you should definitely ask her and if you still don't believe what she says, then you two don't need to be together. People only have their word and if you don't trust that then you have no relationship and you're wasting each others' time. Good luck hon!

Lebo, If you care for her then ask @ the same time if she didn't tell you the truth then you know that she doesn't care for you all that much . With you feeling like she lied to you - has she lied to you before? And let me be the first one to say that I'm sorry if she did lie, and if she didn't lie than good luck too you both.

I say yes. If she lied, then you know and can deal with it, before the relationsihp goes any further. If she didn't lie, then you know she didn't, and maybe you can put your mistrust aside better and trust her more, leading to a better relationship. She does not need to know you checked, either way.
