no it was not godspeed, that is a metaphor jesus walking on water. I mean it really did happen but when he walked on water, one of his disciples feel in and started to drown but when he believed and trusted God he too walked on water. We all have to trust God and we will walk on the right path with him.

Back then water was more dense. It is much less dense now due to global warming. In those days anybody who weighed less than 130lbs could walk on water as long as their shoe size was greater than 13.

He wasn't making much headway. He was basically standing on a frictionless surface, and I imagine his arms and legs were flailing about and looking really silly. But they left out the part where all the disiples fell about the boat laughing at his stupid *** for trying it.
