She can try, but may not suceed

No--- especially if you did not mention her full name and address, no one will know who it was, your sister recognized it because it was her situation and she knows your yahoo id. If I saw the question I wouldn't know her from Eve, I would have no idea where she lived, and I couldn't put two and two together, there is no way that she could sue you for duress, harassment, or slander because she assumed the question was about her, stating "My sister has a problem..." could be relative to the other 5 billion people on this planet. Tell your sister to watch Judge Judy

you can sue for anything, but winning or heck getting your case heard is an entirely different story.

Seriously though if she really is pregnant, jobless, and on drugs with the father in jail, that does not sound like a person who is going to go get a lawyer and try to take up labial charges.

You know how much more work it would take to sue you then to get a job. I just don't see her having the motivation.

She could try, but as everyone else says its only likely if you mentioned her name or any identifying things about her. It does sound like that you could diffuse this situation by talking to her about it. You were obviously concerned about her situation and that's why you asked for help - because you wanted to help her, but didn't know how. This shows that you love her. I am sure if she understands this, that she won't sue.

I would talk to a lawyer but if you didnt use her name how could she sue? You just used a situation that she was in.

Yes, anyone can file a law suit. And she can win but she better have the proof to show the judge where it's against the law for someone to ask a question.

How is she going to prove that you wrote a question about her? Did you use her name or any other identifying info? If not, she doesn't have a case, and it will likely be thrown out of court.

EDIT: I just read the previous questions you asked. You did not provide your name, her name or any identifying info. She has no case, so you will be fine.

You can sue anybody for anything these days, but the chances that a judge is going to take her seriously are slim to none.

I'm guessing you posted neither her name nor yours, so what's her problem??

I read the question you asked about your sister and no she can't sue... you didn't use her name and didn't reveal who you are so she has no basis for a lawsuit... nice try though...

as long as you didn't use any identifying information about her ... no she can't. she has to prove without a doubt that it was her you were speaking about. so unless you used her name, number, address, etc. there's not much she can do about it. Hopefully for the sake of you sister, you didn't use any of that important info on here ...
