I am 23, 5'6 and I weight 251 lbs, but I did weight 269. I have been loosing weight for the past month or so.

I have basically been exercising for an hour a day for at least 5 days a week. I have also been counting calories and keeping my intake between 1200-1600 cals a day. I have been averaging weight loss of 2-3 lbs per week.

Inorder to support this I have utilized a site called SprkPeople.com...I would really recommend it. Remember this can't just be about weight loss, it has to be about changing your way of life. It will take longer for you to loose weight because you weigh a lot less then me. I would shoot for a goal of 1-1.5 lbs a week, work out with cardio 5 days a week, and weight lift 3 days a week. Take up athletic hobbies, and remember, you are trying to achieve happiness, not weight loss (but it usually comes with it)

if losing some pounds of any description and inches is what you want then I used a great website and coach who helped me. They were very friendly and gave me lots of great advice. I needed to lose 40 pounds and I did so fairly easily. The website is myhealthabc.com once you fill in your details (you will need to be over 18) then you get a call within a couple of days and they just ask what you would like to lose. There is no pressure and they will even send you a load of free samples so you can try before you buy. There is also a mall area they then you a link to where you can see the full range of products they have, its myhealthabcmall.com. The products really work and you feel great whilst losing weight, its all nutrition based. They are fun to work with aswell as being serious about helping you lose weight.
I lost all my weight in less than three months and they have helped me to keep it off. I would definitely recommend using them, the tips you get and encouragement are excellent (their advice and time is FREE). I am still with them so I stay healthy. The owners will advise you on what to purchase depending on what you want to lose, my sister did this also and lost 76 pounds in less than five months.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Eat less. Do heavy cardio in the morning. I would also recommend gaining muscle with weightlifting if possible.

I know it's hard but get up at 5:30 in the morning and run 10 miles.

Losing weight takes a lot more commitment than slimfast.

i'm incredibly vast myself, (161 at 5'5"), yet i be conscious of what has helped me in the previous is to set small objectives to shed weight decide to exercising ordinary 20 minutes when I consume in the morning, or consume fruit everytime I crave sugar. whilst I even have not been doing that as lots at present, I even have lost 40 kilos by doing it, and that i even have been given myself to the place i will exercising a million-a million/2 hours an afternoon without straining myself. i'm sorry, and don't cry for the reason which you are able to lose it, it merely takes a will and a desire for that to ensue. merely initiate by going on a 20-30 minute walk on a daily basis and shrink out cokes, candy, and different candy yet nutritionally absent ingredients, and you will see some substitute. you are able to hit a platuae after even those issues, and if it fairly is so, merely shrink down approximately 500 of your energy intake, or exercising greater to burn greater energy, and you will recover from that hump. sturdy success!

Consult your doctor. It's hard to say. Do you eat too much or is it because of some sort of physical condition? If you eat too much, watch what you eat and join a gym. Take it slow at first, you don't want to give yourself a heart attack. Get a reputable diet book. Personally, I recommend Dr. Phil. Good luck. Most of us have been there.
