Me and my girl of 18 months split since I left for college. We had the best 18 months of our lives we both agree. We were together nearly 24/7 and went on nearly every family vacation with eachother: Cruise in California, Putin Bay, Tennesse, Florida...we have so many memories together. The trouble was that when college came neither of us were ready for it. We made it through a whole quarter of living 45 min apart but things were rocky. She was adjusting and hanging out with her friends more and when I'd come home on the weekends (everyweekend just to see her) she'd act distant... She aknoledged this and promised she was just adjusting... things went about the same from there on out and finally she told me she just needs to be her own person "for now" and "she doesnt know what'll happen in the future but this is best for now"...she even said "If god wants us together we will find our way back together". ahhhh we broke up and both of us were balling. Niether of us ever thougth it'd

end like this... She was obviously upset by everything and so was I. After 2 months I STILL think about her all the time... I miss her so much. Someone posted new years pics of her in her room on facebook and all of our pics were still up.. so I know she just didn't forget about me.. I just think we weren't ready for this. I haven't talked to her much at all since..I figured I'd give her space and the ball is in her court. Chances are we'll go to the same college when she goes away for school so I dont think it'll be a distance relationship forever. I guess time will tell what ultimatly happens....Summer? Spring Break? Anyone have any advice and Serious answers only? please

sounds like she needs some space. from 24 x 7 to only weekends is an adjustment...but it is for you too. Her friends might be part of the issue.
I would talk to her...you are still friends at least aren't you?
tell her how you feel and see how she really feels and then either make a go of it together regardless of the time/distance or move on with your life.....it sounds like that is what she is doing.
sorry

be cool...

sound to me like u wouldn't mind having her back.she might come back, she might not.if u built ur life around her,now is the best time to rebuild.break-ups are always painful especially with people so close.take ur time about it and don't rush to replace her with another girl...believe me,it's pointless and u'll only cause pain.each morning u get up,wish her well wherever she is and be yourself.if she's yours she'll be back but remember sometimes we lose one to get a better one.follow ur heart and i bet u,months from now u'll be smiling.whether she comes back or not,u 'll be fine.
