Their agenda is to take over. What is a better way than to use public schools.

I think we are using the wrong terms here. I grew up in a Christian based faith. I taught in the youth ministry. I am not atheist. I am pagan. I think antagonize is the wrong term. I admit there are some that wish to antagonize and just pick a fight. BUt the number of atheists/agnostics/pagans that just wish to be left to their faith without the effort of those that are "Christian" trying to SAVE them and bring them to the rapture are far greater than those that wish to pick a fight. I personally could get on a high horse and say there are many numerous inconsisties in just about EVERY faith, from one end of the specturm to the other. THe fact of the matter is that only the CHristian faith says you will suffer for eternity for not "confessing, repenting, and paying a penance". My personal faith says that Kharma rules and for every one sin I commit I will pay for it in this mortal life three times over. That is enough for me. But I am sure that if I told a Christian believer that, they would do their sound best to "SAVE" me. I was saved once, and then I was reborn into a pagan. THis wasn't meant to antagonize, just a statement to ask that you not lump all atheists/agnostics/pagans or the like into one BIG "disbelieving" bunch.

First off, we antagonize Christians because it is so easy. If you don't want to be insulted, don't let your self get insulted. Someone once said something like, "no one can put you down unless you let them." I think it was Eleanore Roosevelt.
Second, how dare you assume I don't know anything about Christianity? I was raised in Church. I have very little against true Christians that love their neighboor and help people the way they are supposed to, but so few people do. My main problem is when so called Christians use their religion to spread hate. I have nothing against most Christians.
And third, I do not insult your religion. I insult you. Your religion is based on peace and love, and I wholeheartedly respect that. YOU are the one I insult and challenge. So many Christians think with the Bible, not with their heads. They need to learn to think outside the book. I do not cast lies, I challenge.
You be honest.

I am not an atheist. However, I've seen the all-too-holier-than-thou, antagonizing people of different beliefs and of no beliefs. This is no better than an atheist who will ramble on about science every time he or she gets on here.
The things written in this category are ridiculous, for the most part. Religion is up to an individual; we have freedom of religion; people who do not believe have the right not to believe! This is a no-win, no-lose category. No one can prove anyone else wrong--so it's about time for everyone to just move on to topics other than religion (and don't switch to politics--that's also no-win, no-lose as well)

Are you trolling or something?
Okay... let me make this easy for you..
Most of us used to be Christians. We know what we know about your religion and have found things that suit us better. End of story.
Why do people antagonize YOU?
"If you were to read the truth that is written you would have seen this for yourself.Your weakness is in your eyes and ears,Jesus loved you and yet without provication you attack Him,can't you atheist leave Him alone or has your father [satan] put you up to this slander."
hmm... I thought your god was EVERYONE'S father... and how do you know the questioner never read the texts you suggest...
"First of GOD dose not have to prove HIM self, the devil is quite sure of GODS rein, why do you think he uses foolish people{like your self} to make such stupid statements.Oh by the way,my GOD will take the devil out of existence when HE is good and ready too"
Did YOU even read the Bible? After statements like this (I especially like the MY GOD thing... classic!)... Ummm if YOUR god wanted Satan out of the picture he'd have done it already.
"No one knows the time or day only the father{GOD] but it will end , and probably soon,so turn your heart to JESUS now so that you needn't worry."
"Your quote rings true,so unless a Muslim accepts Christ as there personal savour unfortunately yes they are headed for hell."
Wow... I'm sure YOU get to make that decision too, don't you! Hey, aren't you Christians not supposed to judge others (lol)?
"If one can not accept a perfect gift{yes a gift from GOD]then [HELL] is your only alternative.Sorry!"
That one's my favorite! To answer one of your previous questions, THIS is a reason why I attack PEOPLE like you!
I have a hard time considering you a Christian, and if you are a good example of what a "real Christian" is supposed to act like, then I'm perfectly happy with my atheism. I'm surprised the other Christians aren't ashamed of you. I would be.
Dude! That's just the ones I found in 5 minutes of going through your answers! I don't consider myself any better or worse than anyone else. YOU, on the other hand-you're a real piece of work! Go cry to someone else, I think you should be embarrassed!

I have more knowledge of your religion than you do. Most of the atheists here, I suspect, were not raised atheists. They learned enough about religion to be born again into the real world.
I feel that you defame the name of science and cast open lies about reality.
As far as agenda, atheists are not demanding that school children be taught that god does not exist or any other atheistic beliefs. It is, rather, Christians who are demanding that school children be taught Christian beliefs.
The day somebody posts an atheist version of the ten commandments starting with "there are no gods" in place of the ten commandments that Christians want posted - then you can start whining.
Go in peace to love and serve the truth.

1) If you have some evidence of an atheist agenda, better make it public and fast, before people get to thinking that you're the one who doesn't know what he's talking about.
2) As several others have pointed out, most adult atheists in this part of the world were raised in Christian homes. (I was raised Catholic, myself.) If most of us haven't made an intensive study of the bible, at least we understand the principles well enough to want no part of them. That means we understand Christianity at least as well as most of those who profess that faith, and better than the vast majority who have never given a second thought to what it is that they actually believe.

Your whole question could be turned around and asked about Christians, too. Christians don't understand Atheism, they defame science and logic, cast lies at what Atheists believe, and claim to do it in love and peace. What's their real agenda? Sorry - that's how a third person outsider sees it. I'm not Christian or Atheist.

Actually, most Atheists were Christian at one time or have at least read the entire bible once. They don't tend to be the kind of people to talk about something unless they understand it. I'm not an Atheist, nor do I speak for them, but judging from what I've seen from them on this site and in the real world, that seems to be the case.

Actually, I was studying for the ministry when I went through my transitional period.
I know Christianity like the back of my own hand. I was a born again, saved and convicted Christian for much of my life, devoted 100% to God.
It's that utter understanding that, when I look back on it, makes me realize that it would be immoral for me not to wage unending ideological war against Christianity and Islam.
They are false religions that are unique in one thing of all religions -- they contain an injunction to convert the whole world.
All the other religions, even Judaism, seem to understand how to live in mutual respect.
I antagonize Christians because I am at war with their ideology.
Don't like it? Fix your religion in a way suitable to you.
Otherwise, don't whine when we do it for you, and don't gripe about how it gets done.
You had your chance.

Most of us know far more than we ever wanted to know about your religion. I have never seen an atheist challenge a believer "in the name of peace".
I have always been honest about my agenda. If one of you deluded sheep ever, as a result of what I post, picks up a book other than the Bible and realizes how idiotic your beliefs are, then my time here is well spent.
