i did not mean "cannot see" literaly. i was refering to the fact that it is an interal disease that is no cured or fixed right in front of our faces. if they are, then tell that to the christians who belive that god spontaneously cures them.

If God was all-powerful, and, as many theists claim, miraculously heals people, you'd think he would heal amputees as well.

There is absolutely nothing stopping God from healing amputees. Nothing.

Many people pray for healing and never receive it. Little kids die from leukaemia and in 3rd world countries from starvation. There is suffering all over the world. At least an amputee can wear a prosthesis and live a near normal life. I am certainly not saying this is an easy disability to live with I am sure it must be a horrible thing to try to adjust to. But, I work in health care and have seen success with lives with amputees. Stop watching faith healers on TV, some of that is just show business.

I know of a boy who was missing a thumb and he went to a healing service and he went up on stage. The preacher asked him if he needed anything, and the boy said that he would like to have a thumb. The preacher commanded the thumb to grow in Jesus' name. At first, nothing happened, but after about five minutes the whole audience stood up in praise and complete amazement when the boys thumb began to grow!!!!! It grew all the way out to normal length, but it had no fingernail! So they commanded a fingernail to grow, and guess what happened...a fingernail grew, but it had a strange blue glow around it. It just kept growing and growing until it finally curled under. Then the next day the boy came back to church and the fingernail was gone. I don't think he ever grew a fingernail after that, but I'm not sure. But the thumb remained!!! This is an absolutely true story, and I know a lot of other people who have been healed of all sorts of diseases, including me. God does grow out amutees, but so many Christians nowadays don't believe in God's healing, and if you don't believe then it won't happen. I also know a person who went to a Charles and Frances Hunter service to learn about healing the sick, and the first person he laid hands on had no eyeball. When he laid hands on him, an eyeball formed in his head.

Though tecqnically not a limb, Jesus placed a Roman soldier's
ear back onto his head(completely restored and healed).

There have been modern day accounts of limbs miraculously and spontaneously regenerating.

Ernest Angley is one man who has been given the gift of miracles. blind eyes opened, cancer healings, deaf ears opened,etc..

Note your lack of response - thats what Christians do when they cant respond to a difficult question...they pretend it isnt there, or they attack the man directly... Fear not friend. We both know why God doesnt heal amputees - he doesnt EXIST.

To be honest I am not really sure,I can only suppose that if God was to restore missing limbs then people would not believe by faith alone but would believe only on results,I know this sounds wacky but well, I tried.
