What kind of meat?
Was it prepackaged and vacuum packed?

If you're freezer is working well and the meat is vacuum packed, then you should be okay.

If it looks freezer burned or off color, I'd be more cautious.

If the meat was wrapped well and isn't freezer burnt and/or a funky color, it should be okay for about a year in the freezer.

If it looks like you put it in the freezer just yeserday, it should still be ok. I would thaw it first and them smell it before cooking it. If it feels slimy, when it is thawed, throw it away.

If your still not sure - throw it away full stop. Why risk making your self really really sick?
