Peace!
Souls have no DNA because it is the spiritual principle in man. It is not created by our parents. It is immortal. When a person dies it separates from the body and will reunited with the body at the final resurrection.
God bless

Soul is whole being as created like Adam and Eve, or born souls to die, of resurrected souls to salvation from death, the life of all souls is the spirit of God Gen.6:3; Num.16:22; James 2:26; Psm.104:29,30; Isa.42:5; Eze.37:12-14;
Souls must be made perfect to have the perfect spirit from God forever. John 3:16;
Heb.9:27;
It is appointed unto man once to die, after this the judgement.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53;
As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Some heavenly for the new heavens, some earthly for the new earth.
Rev.20:1-6,12,13; No Satan 1000 years, the heavenly first resurrected for the new heavens is with Jesus to resurrect the earthly for the new earth.

good question! i think its spiritually connected because when an embryo's heart at three months simultaneously start beating out of nowhere. i know that once the heart cells have been specialized to form the premature heart it starts beating just like that. scientist are baffled by what triggers this. the human genome project has discovered all the genes on the DNA and they have not found any gene connected to the beating of heart in embryos. its fascinating really.

I think it is WAY more complex (and deeper) than that - I think the soul is tied up with consciousness, theory of mind, empathy universal subconscious etc....
Maybe you would have more luck finding the "soul" in other science disciplines like quantum physics and chaos maths etc...
ps. after thinking some more - I would like to modify my answer. Some scientists think that long term memory (and maybe even ancestral memory!) etc. is coded into our DND so it is possible that at least a "doorway" or a "key" to your soul is physical and biological.... BTW I have tried to give a non faith-based answer as you have not stated your faith.....

The soul is the spirit essence that God intended to give us to stay connected with him. It is the center of our thinking, feeling, loving and responding to God.
I hope this helped 'cause it came right from the Bible.

Good question. For on the sub atomic level, all matter is nothing but energy after all. Makes you wonder if our higher selves didn't have something to do with arranging our DNA the way it is.

A soul doesn't actually have a mass to it.. it's like a personality. A feeling, a thought.

i do not think doctors have located a "soul" in the human body yet. i guess it's more of a spiritual thing.
