Download a torrent client like BitTorrent, BitComet, BitTornado...etc. I personally like BitComet and I think BitTorrent kinda sucks. There are tons of places to get things from, and I highly recommend mininova.org. Others are Bitsoup, TorrentPortal, Bitenova, TorrentReactor...lots more. You'd be amazed all the things you'll find...Software, Games, Movies, TV clips. Some of these files will take a loooooong long time, sometimes even a day or so, sometimes just a few hours. When you select a file to download, it will automatically use your client to download it, you dont have to go to the client first. BitComet allready has a list of Torrent sites that you can go to directly from there, its under favorites I believe. When browsing for files, check the numbers of Seeders(# of providers), Peers(# of people sharing the torrent), and Leechers(# of people currently downloading). If it has a low number for seeders or peers, than more than likely it will take awhile. If there is a 0, than don't bother.
Hope this helps.

There are ways to steal programs online, but a better alternitive is to find free versions of them. For expamle, I don't want to spend money on MS Office, so I got OpenOffice.org instead. Instead of spending $300 or so on Photoshop, get The Gimp.
If you want a modeling program, try something like Blender or Milkshape.

There are programs like Lime-wire, Morpheus, and BearShare
which is file sharing. But with all of them you run the risk of
getting viruses and trojan downloaders. Also you can get in
trouble for copy-write infringement for downloading music
and movies. But there are a lot of people doing it. And there
are a lot of "public domain" movies and music which is legal
to download.
http://www.download.com/ has file-sharing programs to download.

Linux operating systems are excellent. Try out one of the free distributions. My favorite is UBUNTU. You can download it, or order a CD, at
http://www.ubuntu.com .
You will also get all the software, that you will ever need, FREE - See

Not that i have found unless you use Aries, which is a peer to peer sharing program. The only problem i have had is it opens up your computer more to threats and viruses.

If you place no value on your time, then if you spend enough time trying you can get almost anything for free.
