I am serious. This has got to happen quite a bit. Are therapists trained to deal with this situation? Males know that it's something that can't be controlled and know that females know it too, but it's embarrassing nonetheless. What do they say in massage school? Hold the jokes. Serious question.

At GOOD massage schools...there should always include some kind of discussion and training in this area. I am a big believer in energy and intentions...but it does just happen especially if a male client falls asleep. It is natural, yes. The female therapist should not take it seriously unless the male client starts to throw red flags (grinding the bed, grabbing hands, moaning, etc). At that point the session should end. Usually the perverts will be rules out from the booking process. I have had men fall asleep and not know so I place an extra heavy blanket on top. But because I had a positive and professional intention (and was trained properly) and energy I have never had to end a massage from a perverted client.

You just ignore it. Having an erection is normal when a man is in a relaxed state.

Most female massage therapists are overweight, so this problem is not as common as you'd think.
