Have Nancy Pelosi (present speaker of the house) design a focus group to determine why people forget things. A "bi-partisan" subcomittee can then complain that not enough funding is being allocated because those mean spirited republicans are fighting a war to free us from Jihad and Al Qaeda in Iraq....HOW DARE THEM!!! The vote along party lines to allocate more funds will be deadlocked until you make an impassioned plea that people forgot about Iraq during the first hundred hours of the Pelosi power grab and focused on tax and spend and unless this tide of forgetfulness is stemmed soon calamity will ensue. In a close vote, the funding is narrowly defeated as the Pelosi/Reid regeime realizes people may actually start to remember that nothing has been done about Iraq when 2008 comes round and they may lose the razor thin mandate that brought them in because of it. In a heated moment of passion you vow to forget the whole thing as there is nothing you can do and promptly do so...but at least you gave it a valiant try now didnt you?

First, you should use a telephone when trying to call your Senator and not your shoe. Shoes cannot dial long distance. Second, you really need to stay off the computer. Third, you must retake your picture. The one you have posted makes you look intelligent. Good day to you sir!

Run for Senator. Once elected you'll have an office nearby, then you can walk right in and talk to him without being put on hold.
