My brother is always mean to me. We always fight and argue non stop. Today, he actually was being nice and that never happened before. Gave me money, I was like WOW, what did he heard? What made him nice today?

Maybe he woke up on the right side of the bed today. LOL. Maybe he got a raise at work and that's why he gave you money. Maybe he realized he isn't nice enough to you on a daily basis. Maybe you haven't done anything to get on his nerves. Guys suffer from PMS or hormone cycles similar to girls, maybe he isn't PMSing.

Maybe your brother is getting older and realized that he have a responsibility to be a brother who you can turn to when you're in need. Or maybe he got the car towed and need someone to help get him back on good terms with mom. Who knows, you did not put down a age range so I can not guess his motive.
Who cares, just milk it for all you can.

Well, it could be he needs you to do something for him (the question is when???) Or maybe it's sincere (after today it's possible he might want to be nicer?). All I can say is hopefully, maybe, it's a start for him changing his attitude?It definately would make your life easier!

there could be any number of reasons. i like to look on the
bright side, so unless you learn a different reason later,
maybe he is just growing up.
