It's a long story but i found out he cheated with another co-worker and strung me along the whole time. I got called in the office because people at work were gossiping about how bad he's treated me,i walked in,he was there along with two managers and i was so angry with the way he's lied and cheated me that i swore and went for him,he is a cop btw but i didnt care,i didnt get fired but now i hear he's telling people i stalked him and he told me it was over ages ago,i know it's all lies,at the moment i still have to work in this place and i feel i made a fool out myself by lashing out and not talking calmly but anyone in my shoes would have done the same thing right?

Well, getting involved with a co-worker (cop or not) is never a good idea for just this sort of reason!

Hehe, making a fool out of yourself isn't so bad. Just tell everyone he provoked you, and when they ask how, say "By standing there and knowing he wasn't loyal." I did it once at school, and earned myself two weeks of detention. It happens to all of us, whether we're two years old or twenty. If I were you, I'd just ignore him and let it all die down. Who knows, there might be people secretly congratulating you!

Just ignore him.He obviously likes to start drama and false rumors.I probably would have done the same thing.I wouldn't go back to work,I would find another job.

To much drama at the work place isnt good, better you wait until your off of company property and then do some damage.
